Late Victorian Walking Skirt 

Skirt was drafted using Charles Hecklinger's The ‘Keystone’ Jacket and Dress Cutter: A treatise on jackets, dresses, and other garments for women (New York, 1895), 82-3.

​

The skirt includes a slight train and pockets in the back side seams

 

​

Skirt is made to be worn under a matching waistcoat. 

​

​

Skirt is constructed using a blue wool mix and a lining of brown polished cotton.
